Important Update: Cumulative Hotfix 207376 for V7.7 SP1 - Firewall Configuration Required

We are pleased to announce the release of cumulative hotfix 207376 for V7.7 SP1. This update introduces significant changes to the way b4 software manages future updates.

Key Change:
After applying this hotfix, b4 software will download updates from b4update-data.amdosoft.com, replacing the previous URL b4update-cvs.amdosoft.com.

Action Required:
To avoid disruption in receiving future updates, please update your firewall settings to allow access to the following URLs on ports 80, 443, or 2501:

  • b4update.amdosoft.com (remains unchanged)
  • b4update-data.amdosoft.com (new)

Please note: Before installing the hotfix, the current URL b4update-cvs.amdosoft.com must remain accessible, as the switch to the new URL will only take effect after the update is applied.

Important:
No further updates will be available until you install cumulative hotfix 207376.
